Thank you for taking part in the fight against the status quo.
I served in the United States Marine Corps from 1978-1985. I have done my research and Ron Paul is the only candidate I will support. He stands for Liberty, Peace, The Bill of Rights, and The Constitution. I took my oath to uphold the Constitution against enemies both foreign and domestic. I will continue to uphold my oath and Endorse Ron Paul for President 2012.

I enlisted in 2008 to support the mothers and fathers return to their families. I wasn’t a father so my importance was mitigated by the fact that not too many people would miss me if I deployed multiple times. I only recently found out about Dr Ron Paul and I must say it has ignited something in me. Namely, hope. I lost a lot of faith in this country after my recent deployment. We engaged and captured countless numbers of terrorists on our kill/capture list but we weren’t ending a war, merely delaying it’s progress. Our occupation in Afghanistan was nothing more than just that and I lost many friends to fighting against an ideology. It wasn’t until I heard Dr Paul speak that he made everything much more clear. I was injured in a skydiving accident last year and am chaptering out of the Army. But I’ve concluded that my vote for Dr Paul will do more to contribute to freedom and individual liberties of the American people than all the years spent training and fighting in the Army combined.

Dr. Paul’s policy makes perfect sense. Take care of matters at home, hold our troops as preciously as they should be, and let those who yearn for freedom shed their own blood, much like our forefathers did 235 years ago, no matter what they are up against! All that money dumped overseas, with what has amounted to little results or stability, could be utilized here (I am thinking national debt). Thousands of heartbreaking military funerals never have to happen. There is no defense for the failed actions and results of the status quo.
It’s time for radical change, it’s time for Ron Paul to be our next President in 2012.

As a Vietnam veteran, I understand, on a personal level, the impact of intervention in other countries affairs in a way that Gingrich, Romney and the rest of the chicken-hawks running for President never will. They all avoided service through connections, many of them in the same war I was wounded in.
There is not a shred of doubt in my voice when I say, “I support Ron Paul and everything he stands for, unequivocally.”
Thank you CVRP for speaking out in the face of adversary and for giving old vets like me a voice.

Clearly, our only hope to restructure our botched foreign policy and bring an end to the incompetence and lawlessness of our federal government is to elect Ron Paul as president.
Support your troops. Vote for Ron Paul in 2012.

I endorse the only candidate that is for small government across the board. The only candidate that wants to end the Fed and return the monetary system back to sound money. The only candidate that truly supports states rights. The only candidate that understands blowback from our meddling in foreign countries. The candidate that receives more campaign contributions from active duty personnel than all the other candidates from both parties put together. Its time for American to truly support the troops and veterans by standing with Ron Paul.

I enlisted in 1972 and remember my grandfathers disapproval, he was in the WW1 killing fields of France and believed war was only run by politicians trying to measure dicks while innocent young men are led to slaughter. I strongly endorse Ron Paul for the president of the US..

I am proud to endorse Dr. Ron Paul for the office of President of the United States.
Ron Paul has unique, refreshing views on fiscal soundness, civil liberties, the role of government, and many other issues. I find it curious that his views are unique, and that all too often, he stands alone in upholding his oath to protect and defend our founding document that was created to shackle our governing body and protect our liberty. I find it refreshing that he wants to give us a chance to see what it’s like to really be free.
Of all the issues, I’m most supportive of Dr. Paul’s position on foreign policy.
We in the military take an oath. It’s a simple oath, to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. Supporting and defending our Constitution is our only purpose. That’s it, that’s all, no more. Most of us have a pretty good idea what that means, and we can tell when we are deployed in a way that has nothing to do with our oath. To ask us to invade countries that are not a real, imminent threat to the United States is asking us too much. To order us to do it is treasonous. For decades, we have been waiting for the American people to understand that simple truth. I hope that wait is almost over.
As with all of Dr. Paul’s positions on issues, his foreign policy is a reflection of his respect for his own oath to defend the Constitution, and for the Constitution itself. With that rock-solid foundation under us, to be the basis for everything that happens next, I truly believe that we will flourish and prosper as a nation, and that the world will be better for it.
RON PAUL 2012!

I enthusiastically endorse Rep. Ron Paul for President in 2012. Its has always bothered me to see spineless politicians (who have never endured the absolute horrors of war themselves) endlessly advocate for conflict after conflict. War is horrible and should only be tolerated in the true defense of our nation. Careless meddling in the affairs of sovereign nations will almost always lead to resentment from the citizens of those countries and therefor create generations of people who hate the United States of America. I have seen innocent civilians get accidentally hurt in combat, and I do not blame the relatives of those poor souls for hating us. Simply calling them terrorists who hate us for our freedoms is both irrational and irresponsible.
We need to change the status quo and vote in a true conservative who respects and upholds the constitution, and will defend our civil liberties. We need a leader who has held his ground for 20 + years in congress. We need a leader we can trust. We need a leader who my kids can look up to in the future. We need Ron Paul to be elected president in 2012!

I’m an Air Force veteran of the Viet Nam era. I’ve been around since FDR. My Air Force duties took me to lots of places around the world, so I’ve seen first hand how the other half lives. I also learned that our presence in other countries are only tolerated, not necessarily welcomed. It occurred to me a long time ago that we don’t need to have our nose stuck in other countries’ business. They have and can do quite well without our intervention. And that is why I support Ron Paul for President in 2012. It’s time we turn inward and take care of America first. Our long reach has driven us to the brink of absolute bankruptcy. We cannot afford it. Ron Paul sees this and anyone who is against the same old politics as usual, can see it, too.

I am a U.S. Army Special Forces veteran. I have served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Philippines, and many other countries. I was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor; I am no concienstous objector or coward. Our wars are needless, wasteful, and engineered to be endless. They are prosecuted only to enrich the elites while bankrupting our nation. There is nothing for our country to gain in Afghanistan. The people there oppose our occupation. To support anyone else in 2012 would be a tacit approval of endless war and the suffering imposed on the Afghan people and our soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen. I endorse Ron Paul for president in 2012.
My name is Rodger Williamson II. I served in the active US Army, the Army Reserves, and the Army National Guard from 1985 to 2009 before I retired and I was honorably discharged out of the the service. I served in the Cold War, Operations Desert Shield / Storm, the War on Terrorism, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. I am the son of a twenty year Army veteran with two Combat tours in Vietnam, – and he was the son of a 21 year Army / Air Force veteran with Combat service in Europe in WW-2, – while my oldest daughter is a Combat Veteran with service in Afghanistan. I have traveled the world, and I have seen what others see when they’re on the outside looking back at the USA with regard to America’s past and present foreign policies. Ron Paul is the ONLY Presidential candidate that has expressed that he also comprehends where America’s policies have failed, and has offered a sound “plan of action” to extricate the United States from the morass that it finds itself entangled. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who comprehends that if we do not save the American economy now, – that there will not be an America as we know it in our future. Albert Einstein once said that “the definition of insanity was to continue doing the same thing over and over, all the while expecting different results.” If any other candidate other than Ron Paul wins the Republican nomination, – say hello to more of the same, and goodbye to what is left of the USA. – Einstein also said “any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex … it takes a touch of genius – and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction.” Ron Paul is that courageous genius that has consistently been ahead of his time. … I am an American Military Veteran, and I support Congressman Ron Paul for President of the United States in 2012.

Ron Paul 2012
I will start by telling you a little about myself. My name is Christopher Nolan and I am a veteran. I began my military career in 2003 as an infantryman and I am currently finishing up my obligation in April 2012 as a Military Information Support Sergeant. I’ve deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and have drastically changed my opinion throughout my near nine years in the military. I started out as a fresh American kid out of high school wanting to go to war and kill the enemy. Now I’m a vet of two undeclared wars and am wondering if our actions have made us safer, or if they have only created more enemies and given more power to an ignorant central government set on subversively controlling the world, its own people, and expanding an empire under the guise of “freedom.”
This is not what the founding fathers had ever intended, this is not what the Constitution allows, and that is why I, Christopher Nolan, endorse Dr. Ron Paul for President of the United States of America.
“Freedom is lost gradually from an uninterested, uninformed, and uninvolved people.” Thomas Jefferson
Ron Paul’s plan to Restore America Now is no less than saving America from kingdom. Based off his years in Congress, he is the only trustworthy candidate running for the office. He sticks to his values and the Constitution and does not pander to voters; what you see is what you get.
Ron Paul is the only candidate that is running for less power. Gingrich, Romney, and Santorum all talk about smaller government, but if you listen to their rhetoric, you will find they have no intentions of actually reducing government. They, including Obama, do have a lot support—constituents exist for their agendas—but they would better serve the United States of America as governors, not presidents.
“In questions of power then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution.” Thomas Jefferson
The fact of that matter is, America is not a one size fits all nation, which is the exact reason why We The People are in need of a substantially smaller federal government. Allow states to govern and settle issues that are best for that state. If Iowans want to live socially conservative, great! If New Hampshire wants a universal health care model, fine! If South Carolina wants a fiery governor that likes to fool around, all right! Just kidding, South Carolina…If California wants to make rather strict environmental regulations, go for it. Unless the state is violating the Constitution, such as infringing on civil liberties, there is not much reason to intervene. But don’t try to impose what your individual state views as “right” on the other states!
“The powers delegated to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the state governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, [such] as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce. The powers reserved to the several states will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people.” James Madison
Similar to our mistaken foreign policy of current, America should not be forcing freedom on other nations. It’s not only ridiculously expensive in blood and treasure, but it’s not logical. The way to influence other nations is by being an example for other nations to emulate, not by destroying other nations with bombs and invasions and then setting up a corrupt government fed by American tax dollars. Let these nations look up to America and come to their own conclusions. Let it be their idea, that if they want to be free, they should consider following our lead.
“If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.” James Madison
It is my fear that many primary voters are not seeing the difference between a state election and a national election. They have become so familiar with the federal government’s drastically imposed power in their everyday life that they have become institutionalized and feel safe and warm with the thought of Washington, D.C. right outside their window.
“Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of Liberty.” Thomas Jefferson
If Gingrich, Romney, Obama, or Santorum are elected, the power will remain in Washington, and their specific agendas will be pushed down the throats of the American People by the federal government, despite whether we individually supported them or not.
So please, voters, see that what is good for you may not be good for everyone. In a national contest, please elect someone who will at least give us the liberty to shape our neighborhoods, towns, cities, and states the way our neighborhoods, towns, cities, and states desire.
“To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.” Thomas Jefferson
Take the power back from the federal government and put it back in the hands of the American People.
“The very definition of tyranny is when all powers are gathered under one place.” James Madison
The only man truly committed to the “radical” idea of liberty is Ron Paul.

My name is Captain Jack R. Thompson, of the U.S. Army. I served from May 2000 until January 2010 and was deployed to Iraq in 2003 and 2004. Later, I was activated in support of Afghanistan operations from 2009 to 2010. I led over 400 missions in Iraq, most of which were routine patrols, but also several search and destroy, prisoner transport, route clearing, and IED demolition missions. I also managed infrastructure construction projects with local national contractors in Iraq, and handled security pass identification and issuance with all contractors and employees assigned to those projects.
It didn’t take long after my arrival in Iraq to learn that the excuse that “they hate us because we are rich and free” was a bald-faced lie. It also didn’t take long for me to realize that Iraq had no part of 9/11, and was not involved with Al-Qaeda.
It became dramatically obvious on the very day that Saddam was captured, during my 3rd month in country, that the people of Iraq were only tolerating our occupation because they really did want Saddam gone. Once he was captured, they dropped all pretense of toleration, and made it clear in both words and actions that continued occupation and the checkpoints, raids, curfews, blockades, and tyranny that go along with occupation would no longer be acceptable. Our job was done, and we needed to go home.
When we stuck around, they began to fight us. It was clear to me at that time, that the Iraqi insurgents only fought because we were there. They did not want to be occupied by a foreign military.
In the 2004 primaries, I was casting my support behind General Wesley Clark in the Democratic Primary, because he was the only candidate who understood this concept of blowback. When he lost the primaries, and John Kerry ran against George Bush, I could not support either party. I ended up casting my absentee ballot for Ralph Nader with the Reform Party that year as a protest vote.
In 2007 when I first learned about Ron Paul, I knew I had finally found a candidate that actually understood what motivates hatred against America. It is the tyranny that we impose abroad, both directly through our military interventionism, our bombing campaigns that kill innocents, our sanctions that deprive innocents of basic supplies, and indirectly through our propping up of brutal dictators, our financial aid to both sides that perpetuates conflicts, and our overthrow of justly elected leaders. Someone who actually understood blowback and presented the constitutional platform of declared war, and the Christian philosophy of Just War.
Only Ron Paul understands and is equipped with the knowledge to execute a Foreign Policy of Peace and Freedom.

I’ll keep this simple, Dr. Paul is the ONLY politician who will stand up for “WE THE PEOPLE”!
For the ignorant, the argument is his foriegn policy is dangerous. To those ignorant I say educate yourself to the TRUTH and you will see the danger is the current foreign policy. For those who choose not to educate themselves I say pick up a weapon and YOU go fight for this policy you believe in so much! Until then shut the hell up and stop being so quick to send someone else to die for your policies. Turn off your reality shows and PAY ATTENTION to what your own government is doing to you!
Cpl. Mike Hunter USMC 8th ESB 2nd Marines
I used to be Sgt. Carter; I’m just Zak Carter now.
I served three years active duty Army as part of 3/7 Inf, 3rd ID and four years in the reserves (3/485th 108th Div), and I truly miss it. Being a soldier was much more than just a job for me—it was love of country. Being a part of something bigger than myself provided purpose in my life. I took great pride in wearing the uniform; I was even married wearing it. There is nothing like the brotherhood I had in the Army, and I’ll never have it again.
However, after learning that our nation’s borders are vastly under-defended and contrasting that with my experiences defending two other nations’ borders overseas, I started educating myself on what was going on in the world, and I could no longer pretend I supported nation building overseas while America fell apart. So in 2008 I looked for a way out and made a video that would ensure the end of my service.
Today, I stand by every word I said four years ago. Our nation’s borders remain under-defended while we’re going broke and borrowing money from China and the Saudis to continue nation building overseas. With our 15 trillion dollars of debt, we have a weak dollar no longer tied to gold, but rather to empty promises from a bygone era when we had a strong manufacturing base that hadn’t yet been shipped off to Asia.
And all of this while our Constitution is seen as an inconvenient bump in the road to go around instead of the road map it was intended to be. The oath I took when I raised my hand and joined the Army was to defend the Constitution, and its greatest enemies today are not in Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, or Cuba, but in Washington DC. They are right here, and they are the bureaucratic establishment. Combine that with our national debt currently being our biggest national security risk, and it’s really time we start taking care of America again and let the rest of the world pay its own way for a while. Returning to the Constitution will show us the way.
I’m a conservative; I believe in limited government and an exceptional and strong America, but I’ve seen first hand the waste we’re engaging in overseas, and I believe we’ll never have a limited government here at home if we support big government solutions overseas.
My biggest fear is that we’ll face an economic collapse and leave all of our troops stranded overseas with us unable to send them the supplies they need to function as an effective fighting force. Our men and women in uniform would never deserve that kind of indignity, and that’s another reason we need to rethink our foreign policy.
All of this leads me to why I support Ron Paul for President. Ron Paul’s non-interventionism is not only the sole foreign policy we can realistically afford right now, it’s also the policy that George Washington and many of the other founding fathers promoted, and one we would be much safer with today. Ron Paul’s across the board limited government consistency has something behind it that all of the other candidates lack—a rational philosophy.
I’m not the only veteran who thinks this way. All of those I served with and am still in touch with today feel the same way, and some eye-opening proof of this support can be seen in the campaign contributions to Ron Paul from those who are still active duty military. Ron Paul has raised more money from our men and women in uniform than all of the other Republican candidates combined. Ron Paul is the choice of the troops, and because they can’t speak out without breaking UCMJ, I, with a whole bunch of my friends, am planning something pretty spectacular.
Veterans for Ron Paul are going to march on the White House on Presidents’ Day, February 20th. If you’re a veteran and you support Ron Paul, I hope you’ll join us. We’ll have a rally at the Washington Monument at noon and start marching at two o’clock. Dress smart and bring your family. Family members are invited to walk behind our formation, and supporters are encouraged to line our route from the Washington Monument to the White House.
I believe in a brighter tomorrow, a respected Constitution, and a restored Republic. I believe Ron Paul is the wise man to get us there, and I hope you do too. I hope to see you on Presidents’ Day. Thank you and God Bless.
In most elections we are faced with the choice of voting for the lesser of two evils; both candidates will trample the United States Constitution, invade our personal liberties and spend our money on unnecessary Government programs and fancy vacations. The only difference is to what degree they will do so.
In 2012 we have another choice. Ron Paul actually understands and supports our Constitution. If you want to consider how he would approach a specific scenario all you have to do is imagine how the founding fathers would deal with it!
My name is Chase Phelps. I was a Combat Medic/Health Care Specialist (originally 91w, later became 68w) in the United States Army. I attained the rank of Specialist/E-4 and was asked to pursue Sgt/E-5 but declined due to my intentions to get out when my commitment was up.
While serving in the 101st Airborne Division, I was one of the first soldiers to be part of a newly created Regimental Combat Team when they first started doing them. I was in the parade formation when my brigade, the 4th BCT (Brigade Combat Team) was adorned with the name of the 506th RCT (Regimental Combat Team). In November of 2005, my unit deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. We spent a year stationed in southeastern Baghdad at Camp Rustimaya.
I support Ron Paul because he supports the constitution. In 2000 and 2004 I was old enough to vote, but didn’t. Why? I felt that I had no real choice and that my vote would be completely irrelevant. The United States is run by a two-party system: Republicans and Democrats. I hadn’t yet heard of Ron Paul in 2008 and didn’t even know until later that he had run in that election.
Ron Paul can stop our country from getting further into the gutter and bring us back to what we are supposed to be! In my opinion, he is the only candidate in 2012 who hasn’t lied to us or flip-flopped on opinions and political stances.
Ron Paul is consistent in his support of the constitution.
President Obama lied to the American people when he claimed he was going to end the foreign wars in Iraq and Afghanistan when he took office. Instead he has us involved in even more unconstitutional wars. He claimed he was going to close Guantanamo bay, yet people are still being held there without reasonable cause- some without ever being charged with a crime. And under current ‘law’ they could be held/detained indefinitely!
The United States has become imperialistic and is moving towards many ideals of a dictatorship at worse, a very strong-handed government-controlled state at best. We have an opportunity this year to alter that path.
Ron Paul is a true Republican. The United States is supposed to be a Republic. As it stands today, we are anything but… but it’s not too late. Join me and my fellow veterans in supporting Ron Paul for President in 2012.
