When the GOP convention rolls into Tampa this August, it will be greeted by a multitude of Ron Paul supporters. Organizers are throwing a music fest the weekend before the convention commences and Paul Festival could draw as many as 100,000. There will also be veterans marches and rallies. That many Paul Supporters in one place will be impossible for the MSM to ignore…but of course that doesn’t mean the coverage of anything Paul related will be exactly fair and balanced.
Which is precisely why we need to have our own people in place.
Enter Glenn Horowitz.
Glenn – an amazing journalist who writes chiefly for the American Daily Herald – is a student of Austrian Economics and a fearless voice in the Liberty Movement. And he has been following and supporting Dr. Paul since most of us were still in middle school.
It should also be noted that Glenn was one of the only journalists to cover the Veterans for Ron Paul March on the Whitehouse in February.
In short, he’s the guy we need in Tampa to cover the convention.
But there is one little problem. Glenn, a former pilot, had to retire from his chosen profession after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The disease first robbed him of his ability to fly and – eventually – his ability to walk.
Confined to a wheel chair, Glenn has been a prisoner in his own home for the last three years.
If we are going to get him to Tampa, we are going to need some help. This is where you come in.
We are attempting to raise $26,000 to convert Glenn’s car to be wheelchair accessible. Right now, we are about a third of the way there. We need to raise the rest as soon as possible, as the conversion takes about two months to complete.
As libertarians, conservatives and Paul supporters we all talk a big game about private charity instead of government welfare. So let’s put our money where our collective mouth is and give this Liberty activist the ability to get out there and fight with us.
Skeptical? Understandable. But I promise that this is a legitimate cause – not a scam. And please, don’t just take my word for it. Click on the videos below to hear endorsements from historian, economist and bestselling author Dr. Tom Woods; Ron Paul biographer Jason Rink; musicians Jordan Page and Tatiana Moroz; and cofounder of CVRP Adam House.
When you’re finished watching, please visit GetGlennMobile and read some of Glenn’s stories for yourself. And then, if you can spare anything – even five bucks – click on the donate button and help a friend and fellow patriot regain some of the freedom that you and I take for granted everyday.
Let’s get a good journalist to Florida to cover the convention. We’ve donated millions to Ron Paul’s campaign. We should easily be able to raise a few thousand to put a Ron Paul warrior back on the figurative battlefield. Let’s get Glenn mobile.
