Combat Veterans for Ron Paul is a grassroots effort owned by nobody but those who want to take ownership of themselves as individuals and freely associate as desired. Many of us may disagree on a wide array of issues, but the common thread of the message of Liberty brings us together.
Recently, the founding members of CVRP gathered in our secret lair which is a shadowy smoke-filled dungeon in an undisclosed location. There, we hatched our evil conspiracy for our world domination ground campaign and decided to begin with raffle tickets. Unlike Federal Reserve Notes, you actually have a chance of a good return on your investment into CVRP’s efforts. Unlike the Federal Reserve Bank, CVRP will be conducting this business openly at the Texas for Freedom Rally & Music Festival in Austin this Friday thru Sunday (May 18 – 20). Prizes for the CVRP raffle to include an autographed copy of Ron Paul’s book, “A Foreign Policy Of Freedom,” autographed discs by some of the Liberty Movements’ most talented musical artists, CVRP t-shirts, etc.
Combat Veterans for Ron Paul will be leading a march at the Texas State Capitol building in Austin at high noon on Saturday, May 19th. CVRP is providing speakers and volunteers for the weekends’ events. After the march, the festival will move to “The Stage On Sixth” at 508 East 6th St. beginning at 1500 hrs. Please come out and celebrate Liberty with Sheriff Richard Mack, Jack Hunter, Tom Woods, Oath Keepers, Jimmie Vaughn, Jordan Page, Tatiana Moroz, and many others all weekend long. As the official Ron Paul campaign switches strategy from pouring money down a media blackout hole to where it really matters in the ground game with the delegates, it may be incumbent upon any and all Ron Paul supporters to follow this example of leadership in focusing on what grassroots supporters do best; activism. Considering the integrity of Dr. Ron Paul not to run up debts for others to pay, or to beg for money from the very organizations he will have to confront as President, our beloved candidate has proven once again that he is worthy of a respect that maybe no other politician in America is due. For any Ron Paul supporter who has not been active on the ground yet: If ever there was a time in your life that you wanted to have your say about any grievance you have with your government, about now might be the right time to get loud about it. Ron Paul grassroots activism has already secured its’ rightful place in the history books as one of the most impressive ground-games in American Presidential campaign history. It would seem that Ron Paul is correct when he says, “Freedom is popular. Don’t you know that?” Yes, Dr. Paul, it is. And that’s why you can count on the grassroots supporters to continue our fight for liberty each and every one of us in our own individual way.
For those fortunate enough to be familiar with the powerful musical work of Jordan Page, please remember to stick around for the Sunday portion of the festival as well to see Jordan perform live at Red Eyed Fly at 715 Red River St. beginning at noon.
