Loud and Clear.

It’s time to get loud. And, the message must be clear. Veterans for Ron Paul have already marched on Obama’s White House. In August of this year, we are marching on the Republican National Convention in Tampa Bay, Florida. We’ve given Obama ample opportunity to stop the slaughter of American soldiers, and we’re giving the Republican Party the chance to do so as well. But, one way or another, let’s make this very lima-charlie for the hearing-impaired: SENDING AMERICAN SOLDIERS TO DIE FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN AMERICA’S OWN SOVEREIGN SELF-DEFENSE INTERESTS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPTABLE!

We take an Oath to defend the Constitution of our sovereign Republic and the Rights it ensures to peaceful and law-abiding American people from all foreign and domestic enemies. We DO NOT take an Oath to participate in policing the globe, nation-building overseas, or to do the dirty work of the United Nations and other international war-profiteering efforts. President Obama has proven himself a liar and sell-out in not fulfilling his promise to bring our troops home from overseas occupation and by starting his own wars in new places. Obama is a tyrant who seems to think he is above the law, and blatantly opposes the Constitution as he claims the power to kill anyone he wants to on a whim.

Unfortunately, the Republican Party establishment isn’t showing any signs of being any better. In fact, blood-thirsty warmongering chicken-hawks like Rick Santorum may even be worse! As of now, the only Republican Presidential candidate in the race speaking to the real issues and is making any type of sane case about our foreign policy is TX (R) Congressman, Dr. Ron Paul. Ron Paul is the only veteran in this race, and the only candidate who may actually bring about the change needed for a peaceful and prosperous future in our beloved country. Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, & Rick Santorum are all headed down the same path of global war escalation, attacks on our Constitutional Rights & civil liberties, and corporatist control of an increasingly powerful centralized federal government (especially the concentration of power in the executive authority of the office of President).

Obama turned a deaf ear to our pleas to stop the violence and murder; we are going to give the Republican Party the chance to hear us (lima-charlie) at the Republican National Convention. If the Republicans won’t hear the shouts to stop the reckless direction of our policy either, then they can go to hell with Obama. Good luck getting Romney, Santorum, or Gingrich elected without the Ron Paul r3VOLution. Is that loud & clear enough yet?

I refuse to give up on America, our freedom, and the Constitution to which I swore a sacred Oath before almighty God. I refuse to sit quietly by while bureaucrats in ivory towers congratulate themselves on their genius, pad their pocket-books with fiat money, decorate each other’s chests with medals bought by real men’s blood, and seek to intimidate the peaceful and law-abiding citizens of our beautiful country. I am not alone.

Attending the Veterans for Ron Paul March on the White House on Feb. 20th, 2012, I really didn’t know what kind of atmosphere to expect as my fellow veterans and other Ron Paul supporters gathered in D.C. To my delight, I was inspired by the fact that practically any person in the crowd had at least a decent grasp of the threat that a bankrupt government and an over-stretched military is to our nation. It spoke volumes to me about the patriotic nature of the gathering. I was also happy to see that people at the march were concerned and carried a deep sense of urgency about standing up to the problems our great nation faces in the vacuum of leadership that is now Washington D.C. My fellow veterans for Ron Paul inspired me with their love of their families, friends, neighbors, communities, our country, and very much of each other.

In the upcoming Veterans for Ron Paul March on the Republican National Convention this August, I think it will be a great show of patriotism and love of our nation and its’ people when we give up a few creature comforts and come together again in a spirit of love for America at FOB Domestic Defense in Tampa. The loving comradery that veterans share in combat zones will be visible to the American people as we ask that our fellow war-fighters be taken out of nations in which we do not belong. If the Republican Party insists on ignoring us and continuing the needless violence and escalation of global conflict which kills so many of our brave brother and sister service-members, then they are going to have to tell us that to our faces in Tampa. Is that lima-charlie enough yet?

Do you hear us? Over….

Adam G. House served with the famed 2/503rd Infantry Battalion, 173rd Airborne Brigade, including a deployment to the infamous Konar Province of Afghanistan.
